Maria Mavrommatis is a 4th-year medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC. Born abroad in Cyprus, Maria is a first-generation surgeon-to-be, and she plans to pursue an Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery residency next year. In her free time, she enjoys baking, nail art, and K-pop culture.
